Fiona Halliwell

Fiona lived in the UK for many years where she completed her accounting qualifications and worked in a variety of finance and administration roles. Recently returning to her Kiwi roots, Fiona settled back in Auckland with her family and volunteered with the Citizens Advice Bureau. Immediately recognising the demand for more budgeting support and advocacy within the community she re-trained in this area before joining CARE as a Financial Mentor. Fiona is passionate about supporting her fellow Kiwis and their whānau; working together to make a difference to everyday life and long term outcomes.

I have worked in a number of support roles helping people to achieve their goals in employment and education. I am a firm believer that everyone should be able to access the right information and support when they need to in order to live a good life. Having lived in West Auckland for most of my life I am passionate about our people and the beautiful native bush and beaches we are surrounded by.
In my spare time I enjoy reading, walking and having coffee with friends and family.
